The Design Process
- Contact- Email me with basic design needs and business information.
- Follow-Up- I will contact you by telephone or email to collect further information, to offer a basic outline and a roughly estimated cost.
- Contract- Once an agreement is reached as to the work to be done and the cost of the project I will require a signed contract and deposit before any work can be done.
- Collecting Materials- Before I can start on the site I need you to provide me with any materials to be included such as images (digital or photos to be scanned), copy and logo.
- Home Page- I will provide you with a mock-up of the home page to begin to establish the look, feel and navigation of the site.
- Secondary Pages- Secondary pages will then be designed based on the look established by the home page.
- Testing- Once all pages have been created I will test them on various browsers and platforms to insure maximum compatibility and accessibility. This is also the point at which all proofing should be done.
- Going Live- This is what it’s all been leading up to, the launch of your personally designed Web Site.
- Maintenance- Once your site is launched there may be times when you’ll want to add, change or remove information. We can discuss a regular maintenance plan or work on an as needed basis.
